Make 2024 the year of adventure

Come and be part of some of the most unique adventure races with the smallest horses around.

They might be small but these horses are born to run. Horses love to get out and move and we want to get you out there with them, exploring the trails and wilderness of New Zealand in an entirely new way.

Our main events are multi-day long distance adventure races. The first is the 100km Great Northern Gallop in April 2021. We also offer a range of fun runs and adventure weekends for every level of adventure seeker, endurance athlete or families looking for something memorable to do together, we’ve got you covered.

You don’t need any previous horse experience to take part, miniature horses are a fun size for everyone. For those with their own small horses; we’re here to inspire you to get out and get moving with them too. We created our events so you can take on the challenge with your own equine partner.

We’ve done the hard yards in order to make it easy for you, simply sign up, pack your gear, turn up, we provide the horses and some basic training and off you go.

What’s better than an adventure in the great outdoors, creating lasting memories and new friendships (two and four legged) while exploring new parts of New Zealand. Sign up for the challenge today!

I’ve often said there is nothing better for the inside of the man, than the outside of the horse.
