TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting your entry.

  1. I am in an appropriate physical condition to participate in the Event.

  2. I have taken medical advice regarding any pre-existing medical conditions where appropriate and confirm that it is medically safe for me to participate. I have notified the Event Organisers of any relevant conditions.

  3. I acknowledge that there are risks and hazards involved in the Event. I am aware of the hazards associated in general with walking/running with miniature horses and understand that participation exposes me to associated hazards.

  4. I acknowledge the inherent risks involved in participating in the Event and accept responsibility for my wellbeing and safety during and after the Event. I understand that the Event Organisers, including all officials and volunteers, make no guarantees regarding my safety.

  5. I understand that situations may arise during the Event that are beyond the immediate control of the Event Organisers, including officials and volunteers.

  6. I agree to participate in the Event in a safe manner that does not endanger myself or others. I understand that the Event Organisers may require me to leave the Event if my behaviour or actions are deemed unacceptable.

  7. To the extent permissible by law, I agree that the Event Organisers, including officials and volunteers, sponsors and other parties associated with the Event have no liability to me for direct or indirect loss, including injury or death, sustained during or in any way related to my participation in the Event.

  8. I authorise the use of my name, voice, image and information provided on this entry form for broadcast, telecast, promotion or advertising in any medium, without compensation or payment to me.

  9. I agree to comply with the rules and regulations pertaining to the Event and with all reasonable directions from Event Organisers throughout the Event.

  10. I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided by the Event Organisers, including officials and volunteers, before, during and after the Event.

  11. I consent to receiving medical treatment in the event of illness or injury suffered during or immediately after the Event.

  12. If a natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstances force cancellation of the Event, any transfers or refunds will be at the discretion of Born to Run Adventure Racing organisers.

  13. The $500 confirmation deposit is non-refundable. Any refund of the remaining entry fee will be at the discretion of Born to Run Adventure Racing organisers.

CANCELLATION

The $500 confirmation deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel, any refund of amounts paid above the deposit will be considered at the discretion of Born to Run Adventure Racing organisers.

PAYMENT & REGISTRATION

A $500 deposit must be paid when confirming your entry. Your registration will only be confirmed once the completed entry form has been received and the $500 deposit has been paid.

PARTICIPANT DECLARATION

By submitting the entry form, I confirm that I have read and understood the information and Terms and Conditions above, and agree to abide by them.
